ORRA offers a wide range of member benefits.
Join today and put yourself at the heart of the National Capital Region’s total rewards professional network.
Events
ORRA holds about 8 events per year that feature the latest thinking on total rewards and associated professional HR practice skills and knowledge. Our events feature local HR executives, functional experts (alone and in panel discussions) and external speakers who provide practical, implementable best practice information for both HR compensation specialists and HR generalists.
Certification
As part of
WorldatWork’s Local Network, ORRA offers WorldatWork certification courses within the National Capital Region. Our goal is to offer educational opportunities locally, reducing travel costs and time away from the office, making professional development more effective.
Education
ORRA’s mission is to advance the professional practice of compensation, benefits and total rewards. Education is key to advancing this mission. We are committed to offering a variety of
educational opportunities in Ottawa that respond to the needs of our members and of the broader HR community.
Networking
Take advantage of networking opportunities with a group of committed total rewards professionals. Our members also tend to wear multiple hats in their organizations, so opportunities exist to network on diverse range of functional areas within HR. And as an ORRA member, you can join the
ORRA LinkedIn group.
Volunteering
Volunteering with ORRA is a great way to maintain a strong connection with the local total rewards network and to earn Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) recertification credits. It’s also a convenient opportunity for students, new professionals and highly seasoned specialists to share their ideas, thoughts and knowledge.
Partnerships
ORRA partners with companies and
educational institutions to encourage networking with other business and human resources professionals, and to enhance access to information and education across the region.
